Saying goodbye. And a sale! Well folks 2023 will be our last growing season of bulk dried herbs. I can’t really articulate all the emotions just yet. Besides a huge thank you for all of your love and support over the years. I(Alex) will continue distilling, teaching on farm (land), in my herb shop @bloodroot.herbshop, online, making teas and seeing clients. But the farm is changing and we will no longer be supplying herbs. We plan on continuing the herb plant nursery though. With death comes room for new growth, new ways and opportunities. I’m ready for the next chapter. So for now snag dried herbs and other goodies from our farm for 35 % off with coupon code midsummer until Monday July 3rd. ✨After months of behind the scenes work @bloodroot.herbshop Herb Shop officially has a home!!!! 🌈 208 w Michigan Ave Ypsilanti MI. Kind of hard to find words, a lot of excitement, some fear, big transitions and work ahead. Excited to build communtity, have a plant/ herb space filled with the rad zines, herbs, classes, consultations, plants and so much more. We don’t have an opening date in mind we are hoping for July but don’t hold us to it! Stay tuned while renovations start! So proud of us! @whitepinerising And proud of myself for navigating these big shifts, raising a kid, and figuring this all out! ❤️❤️❤️ We will be looking for two people to rent the downstairs spaces. They are both really beautiful, if interested send us an email. for more class, consultation and herb related happenings make sure to follow the shop page! @bloodroot.herbshop. O! With the winter solstice approaching I was reflecting back on the summer solstice and these bright blooms. I love living in rhythm with such cycles. Just got back from a few days at the @unitedplantsavers. A soul refreshing trip filled with the most vibrant plants, daily swims in heart pond, and relaxing in the yurt. So many thanks to such a magical place that is there to protect the plants. It truly has a pulse like no other. It’s been 8 years since I’ve been back and I hope to not wait that long again. If you’re not familiar with them check them out, support them and visit if you can!
